This baby girl has had her first tooth removed by a dentist at just 12 days old. Young Isla-Rose Heasman was born with one formed tooth sticking out of her lower jaw. But the baby tooth was far too wobbly to stay in her mouth and had to go.
Her mum, Jasmin, from Plymouth, Devon, said she ‘never expected’ to have to take her daughter to the dentist at such a young age. Jasmin took her daughter to the dentist where she became the dentist’s ‘youngest ever patient’. Because of her age, dentists could not give Isla-Rose any anesthetic, and chose to rub her gums with numbing cream before the procedure.
Jasmin said: ‘She had to have it taken out as it was wobbly. She was braver than me, she didn’t really cry. ‘I had to go out of the room crying because I couldn’t stand seeing my princess in pain. ‘It looks weird her not having a tooth now.
