Nigerian former Super Eagles coach Sunday Oliseh has been cleared by the Royal Dutch Football Association (KNVB) court from ‘Black Money Payment‘ which his employer Dutch Club Fortuna Sittard was guilty of.
Oliseh was ordered by the court to be compensated with all his due gratuities and he has the obligation to remain in the club as the Fortuna Sittard’s manager until his contract expires in May 2018.
Fortuna Sittard suspended Oliseh and blamed him for insubordination, the Ex Nigerian footballer and captain alleged that the Dutch club wanted him to be part of something manipulative which he turned down.
In Netherlands ‘black money payment’ is an unlawful payment for a job done in which tax is avoided.
Oliseh on his social media page expressed how delighted and grateful he was:
“The court further sanctions Fortuna Sittard to compensate me (Oliseh) financially immediately.
“I am obliged to stay as a Fortuna employee until the month of May 2018. Thanks, 2 all my well-wishers for your valued support all through this injustice. Thankful to God 4 his blessings!”
Congratulations to the former Nigerian coach.
