Nigeria Super Eagles Too Good For Argentina (4-2)

Super Eagles of Nigeria defeated the Argentine national team, 4-2, in an international friendly match on Tuesday night. The game which paraded star players like Sergio Aguero, Javier Mascherano and Angel Di Maria were played in Krasnodar, Russia.

Argentina took the lead with two goals ahead of the Eagles, goals coming from Ever Banega in the 28th minute and Sergio Aguero moments after.

Nigeria started their comeback with Ihenacho’s superb free-kick on 44 minutes of the first half to reduce the tally to 2-1.

Iwobi’s equalizer in the 52nd minute motivated the eagles, with the newly invited Brian Idowu who made it 3-2 for Nigeria in the 54th minute of the game while Iwobi scored got his brace of the game to make it 4-2.

Nigeria all looking super ready for the world cup in Russia, one can only wish the team to more better and more formidable as they prepare towards the big event.
