The 26-year-old British actor, who starred alongside Meghan in 2015 film ‘Anti Social’, described the former American actress as one of the ‘classiest and most genuine people’ he had met.
Speaking during an appearance on American chat show ‘Fair Game with Kristine Leahy’, Gregg also defended Meghan, 37, amid the backlash over her family dramas and rumours of a feud with Kate, applauding Prince Harry‘s wife for remaining dignified.
Gregg’s interview comes just weeks before Meghan is due to give birth to her first child with Harry, 34.
Speaking to host Christine about their time filming together, Gregg said: ‘Everybody does know her as a princess, but in real life, she genuinely is also like a princess.
‘She is one of the classiest, the nicest, one of the most sincere and genuine people I’ve ever met.’
And referring to his own British roots, he continued: ‘She was a superstar. To me, I’m so proud of the fact that she’s part of my country’s history in all honesty, aside from obviously having a personal relationship with her.’
