The Portuguese tactician was sacked by the Blues last December as his side seemed to implode just months after winning the 2014/15 Premier League title.
Defeat to Leicester City in his final game in charge of Chelsea left Mourinho’s side just above the relegation zone, and they could only rise to a 10th place finish after replacing him with interim manager Guus Hiddink.
Still, Mourinho has been eager not to point the finger at any individual, saying everyone was at fault for a poor effort at retaining their title.
Speaking to Gary Lineker on Football Focus, he said: ‘You know, I think we were all guilty of our phenomenal season with the league and league cup (victories).
‘We were all guilty of our second season.’
